Ok getting the hang of it (I think) this picture is a wreath hanging on my back porch, just inserted some flowers from my yard in the wreath and took a picture. Color Pencil classes

Learning the basics of color pencil, so much different than the pencil and graphite. But am having fun and will post a pic soon.

Sketching lessons

Last sketch of the intermediate class, old fan we got at antique store, the jug is old and belonged to Grandpa, and the oil can was needed so you could oil the fan while drinking from the jug and still keep cool...ha ha . Its so hard to photograph pencil sketches. Still so much more to learn, but I am loving it. Will start color pencil classes next.

This sketch was to find something around the house that had movement so I had these old toys and decided to draw them. Hard to photograph being black pencil on white paper.

Still learning

Geeze, still learning this blog stuff. Below are pics of Summer and Steve trimming my tree in back yard. Funny thing, hubby was triming when no one was home, ladder fell and well 45 min. later a neighbor peeked over the fence and wanted to know if he needed assistance. lol Can not climb a tree like we used to.

Sketch classes

Hey all, I took a sketch class, actually 4 classes and wanted to show the results. I am very pleased and thankful. I will be going to intermediate classes this week. Wanting to learn more. I have one more sketch and will post later. I am so excited!!!! These are done in pencil and graphite. If you click on the sketch it will enlarge the picture

These butterflies are sure fun to play with. Different ways to make em fancy, but I like chalking the best. I will be doing more for sure.
